Key Responsibilities Contact policyholders through inbound and outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal and update policies to enhance retention and better meet customer needs. Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance. Make recommendations and process changes to policies, documenting all activity in our EPIC system. Receive and respond to customer calls and emails, providing efficient and professional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies. Review policy information and assist customers in filing claims, following company-specific claims procedures. Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth and expansion. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. A Property and Casualty insurance license, with a Membership license preferred or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. A strong understanding of insurance industry principles, including policy coverage, limits, and state laws. Proficiency in EPIC or similar software systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
