Key Responsibilities In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including: Analyzing, assessing, and testing data controls and data systems to ensure compliance with quality and risk management principles Performing strategic and routine data quality, metadata analysis, and administration activities, as well as remediation efforts Providing support for communications with essential documentation related to requirements, design choices, issue resolution, or remediation updates Monitoring data management, data quality, and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes, or systems to maintain consistent data control Assisting managers in the execution of tasks and steps throughout the issue remediation life cycle for data issues Interfacing with and processing data as provided by third-party data suppliers Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: Significant experience in Information Management, Business Analysis, Investigation, Project Management, or a related field, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education A strong understanding of data management principles, data quality, and metadata analysis Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in designing and leading moderately complex investigations to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues, as well as process or control gaps Ability to support communications with essential documentation related to requirements, design choices, issue resolution, or remediation updates Experience in performing basic to moderately complex data profiling, data or business analysis, and data preparation as part of root cause or impact analysis Knowledge of data management standards, policies, and procedures Experience in working with business and technology partners or subject matter experts to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you must possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong knowledge of data management principles, data quality, and metadata analysis Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Wells Fargo, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
