Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely and independently at home. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship. Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises to maintain their mobility and prevent injuries. Offer medication reminders, document client conditions, and notify supervisors of any concerns or changes. Ensure a safe home environment by maintaining unobstructed pathways and identifying potential hazards. Engage clients in activities that bring them joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies, to promote their mental and emotional well-being. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed as a Home Health Aide with Interim HealthCare, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. At least six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, although not mandatory, it's highly preferred. CPR certification, if available. A Covid-19 vaccination card, if available. A compassionate and helping nature, with excellent communication skills. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
