We empower our nation's teachers to provide part-time, online tutoring to students, allowing them to focus on teaching while we take care of the rest. **The Role** We are seeking experienced high school math teachers to join our community of Teacher-Tutors. As a Teacher-Tutor, you will provide virtual small group instruction to high school math students across the country. This is a part-time, remote opportunity that offers flexible hours and a competitive salary. **Responsibilities** * Provide virtual small group instruction to high school math students * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners * Use technology to facilitate online learning and engage students in interactive activities * Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success * Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in online teaching and learning **Requirements** * 3 years of Math and/or ELA lead teaching experience in a U.S., K-12, public, private, and/or charter school * U.S.-credentialed teacher (exceptions may be considered for retired teachers with recently lapsed credential and classroom experience) * Daytime availability (8am-4pm Eastern) * Experience teaching K-12 ELA and/or Math in the classroom (bonus points) * Experience teaching in an online environment (bonus points) * Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom (bonus points) * Experience with remediation, intervention, or small group instruction (bonus points) * Dedication to advancing equity in schools (bonus points) * Experience teaching Spanish Language Arts (bonus points) **Benefits** * Competitive salary of $36 per hour (on a prorated basis) plus a 10% bonus for light preparation * Flexible hours and remote work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive community of educators * Access to ongoing training and support to enhance your teaching skills **Application Process** Ready to join our community of dedicated educators?
