About Our Schools We currently operate two exceptional public high schools in Chicago, open to all students through an open lottery system. Our Belmont Campus, founded in 2013, serves students in Grades 7-12, while our Downtown Campus, launched in 2019, serves students in Grades 9-11 and is growing towards full enrollment by 2023. Your key responsibilities will include: Implementing daily lesson plans for 12th-grade math (Math 090 & Statistics) Demonstrating a 100% commitment to preparing every student for post-secondary success Upholding and contributing to our unique student culture Collaborating with colleagues to design and deliver online and offline instruction Leading an advisory group that meets daily Reviewing student-level data to inform instruction and student groupings Seeking opportunities for professional growth and improvement through data analysis, observation, feedback, and video support Supporting student learning outside the classroom through clubs, after-school tutoring, office hours, and other initiatives Contributing to the overall Intrinsic Team by supporting colleagues, participating in school-wide events, and seeking ways to improve the school Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should: Be certified to teach in Illinois or currently enrolled in an alternative certification program Have a track record of driving student outcomes or a history of achievement with students from similar populations Be experienced in using technology in the classroom or be an early adopter of technology in your personal or professional life What We Offer Intrinsic Schools is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, development, and success.
