About the Role As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative working remotely with blithequark, you will be the spark that brightens days and ignites your career. Key Responsibilities Bring your passion and strong product and brand knowledge to recommend upgrades to health plans Conduct research and make outbound calls to provide answers for customers regarding general healthcare benefit and eligibility questions, enrollment status requests for new and existing members Assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account, locating doctor and facility information Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, empathetic, and solution-focused Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction What You Bring to the Role To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 6 months or more of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy High school diploma or equivalent Computer experience and proficiency in using various software applications High-speed internet connection (> 15 mbps) A USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative) A smartphone or another device that runs IOS or Android (e.g., iPad) for daily log-in Essential Qualifications In addition to the above requirements, you will need to have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Knowledge of healthcare benefits and eligibility Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Bilingual or multilingual skills Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and internal teams Empathy and compassion : ability to understand and relate to customers' needs and concerns Problem-solving skills : ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions Adaptability : ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Technical skills : ability to use various software applications and technology platforms Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to supporting your career and professional development.
