Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Math Teacher to join our team, working with students from Preschool to 2nd grade level in math. As a Remote Elementary Math Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing and teaching online math classes, communicating regularly with students and parents, and contributing to the growth and development of our students. Key Responsibilities Prepare and teach online math classes for students on a weekly basis (5-7 classes = approximately 7-15 hours/week) Participate in paid teaching assistant work by attending classes and learning from experience lead teachers' teaching methods Conduct 1-on-1 evaluations with new students to help them enroll in the correct classes (5-10 hours/week) Grade homework and communicate with parents weekly to update them on students' learning progress and areas for improvement (5-7 hours/week) Other work assigned by the teaching management team Work Hours Our work hours are flexible, but we prioritize class schedules. You will be expected to work: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesdays off) Flexible for non-teaching hours Interview Process Our interview process consists of the following stages: 15-Minute Teaching Demo Submission 5-Minute Story-Telling 10-Minute Teaching 15-Minute HR Screening + Final Interview Prep 1-Hour Final Interview ~30 minutes Parent & Student Evaluation Simulation ~30 minutes Team-Fit + Behavioral Interview Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher; all majors are welcome, though Education or STEM-related majors are preferred Prior math teaching experience is a plus Availability and willingness to work full-time from Wednesday to Sunday starting November 2024 Passionate about teaching, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents High-energy, enthusiastic, and charismatic with the ability to engage and excite children effectively Preferred Qualifications: Experience in teaching math to young learners Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong math skills and knowledge of math concepts for Pre-K to 2nd grade level Ability to engage and motivate young learners Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced online teaching environment Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Think Academy US, we are committed to the growth and development of our teachers.
