About the Role We're currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in cultivating an insights-driven Talent organization, enabling strategic skills choices, and driving better business outcomes through data-enabled decisions. You'll work closely with our Talent Partners and Delivery leaders to provide actionable insights, develop data models, and identify priorities and roadmaps that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Talent Data Operations & Insights team, focusing on strategic partnership and customer-driven products Develop a delivery roadmap that supports the development, execution, and evolution of the overall Talent strategy to meet business needs Provide relevant insights to Talent Partners and Delivery leaders, proactively highlighting wins, opportunities, and risks with informed recommendations Develop data models that are easily digestible to assist the team in making informed decisions Identify priorities and roadmap unique to the business, incorporating multiple internal and external data sources Enable the Talent team to become strategic advisors with the ability to directly impact business results Deliver Consultancy, Analysis & Insights, and Self-Serve Tools Influence leaders on leveraging available insights and power governance efforts, including business process enhancements and managing accountability Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field Strong area expertise in the business location and knowledge of internal data ecosystem Experience in developing and executing talent strategies, analysis, and insights plans Proven track record in delivering complex analysis and insights supporting strategic initiatives Ability to develop a scalable and repeatable suite of tools that meet business needs Strong relationship-building and communication skills with businesses and stakeholders Experience in using governance efforts, including business process enhancements and managing accountability Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment Familiarity with data visualization tools and software Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to develop and maintain complex data models and reports Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
