Job Overview and Responsibilities In this role, you will provide specialized support for network framework and internal desktop systems software and hardware. As a full-time data entry professional working from home, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data accurately. Your duties will include: Providing technical assistance to PC system users and answering questions or resolving PC issues for clients in person, via phone, or from a remote location Maintaining passwords, data integrity, and file system security Investigating and resolving workstation, server, and network issues Conducting site visits to investigate issues or install/update hardware and software as needed Following up with clients to ensure issues were resolved completely Completing service orders to avoid operational delays in resolving issues Communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical clients Key Responsibilities and Deliverables As a remote data entry and technical support specialist with blithequark, you will be expected to: Respond to client care demands and determine the technical assistance issue (i.e., software or hardware related) Speak with clients by telephone to discuss identified issues or concerns and resolve the issues (e.g., hardware or software failure, user error, etc.) Research identified issues by gathering information, investigating web information sites, and/or internal site (i.e., project notebook) to recognize solutions and work towards resolution Conduct callbacks to clients to verify issues were settled totally Finish service orders to stay away from functional defers in settling issues Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to impart complex technical information to both technical and non-technical clients Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (client/server) Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Ghost, Symantec, Remote Desktop Applications, Active Directory, and different Internet browsers (preferred) Skills and Competencies Required for Success In addition to the essential and preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve client issues in a professional and courteous manner Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
