About the Role We're seeking an experienced Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative to support our healthcare providers and members. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, answering questions, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, billing, clinical authorizations, and behavioral health. This is a full-time remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from home in Tennessee. Primary Responsibilities Serve as an advocate for healthcare providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Provide exceptional service to providers through multiple channels, including phone calls and concurrent chat. Quickly triage contacts from healthcare professionals, understanding their needs and providing timely resolutions. Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues, collaborating with internal partners to ensure seamless communication. Multitask effectively, navigating multiple systems to extract necessary information and resolve issues across various lines of business. Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, promoting navigation and faster resolution. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. 1+ year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns. Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems. Typing speed of 35-40+ WPM with 90% accuracy. Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), with flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service. Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology.
