We are currently seeking a seasoned Manager, HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles or New York City. As a strategic partner to our business leaders, you will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, and HR initiatives that foster a culture of innovation and excellence. About the Group The Trade, Development, and Character association at blithequark drives the product and tech strategy for our streaming services, including Disney+, Hulu, blithequark+, and other industry-leading products. Our teams are responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that showcase our unparalleled content and characters across our brands and establishments. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, building effective and productive working relationships with internal partners and clients. Proactively evaluate business and organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative, "impact without power" approach. Mentor leaders on HR strategies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement, and performance management to advance a culture of continuous innovation and growth. Demonstrate adaptability, agility, transparency, and global thinking in your approach to work. Respond to leaders and employees with urgency and deliver results. Analyze HR data and trends, presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner that informs business decisions. Provide guidance on headcount/resource management and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure effective recruitment and talent management processes. Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development. Collaborate with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to implement and track the success of key Inclusion initiatives. Assess talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy, working with Learning partners to design and deliver development experiences that address gaps in current and future capabilities. Lead organization design initiatives to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that drive speed, efficiency, and agility in response to rapidly changing business demands. Foster positive working relationships with other HR colleagues, collaborating on projects and initiatives across various groups within blithequark. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software or product teams. Experience working with senior leaders in an "impact without power" role. Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, navigating issues that may not have established processes or frameworks. Strong business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly. Proven capacity to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent work experience.
