**Experienced Full-time Night Shift Virtual Monitoring Attendant - Remote Patient Observation and Support Specialist**

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Virtual Monitoring Attendant to join our team. As a Virtual Monitoring Attendant, you will be responsible for continuous monitoring of patients requiring close observation via a remote camera monitoring system. You will maintain visual observation at all times of up to 12 patients, monitor patient behaviors and movements, and verbally redirect patients as needed using a digital 2-way audio device. You will also support the plan of care for patients requiring virtual monitoring, document incidents and reports, and communicate with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Maintain visual observation at all times of up to 12 patients, monitoring patient behaviors and movements. Verbally redirect patients over digital 2-way audio device using a microphone and headset, immediately summoning nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Support the plan of care for patients requiring virtual monitoring, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is ensured. Document incidents and reports when a patient appears to pose a threat to themselves or others, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Communicate with internal and external customers, colleagues, and families in a courteous, positive, empathic, and professional manner. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications. The ability to function independently and manage your own time and work tasks, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Healthcare experience, preferably in a patient observation or monitoring role. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates with: Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient observation or monitoring role. Knowledge of patient care principles and practices, including patient safety and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively monitor patients and communicate with healthcare teams. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and respond to patient safety concerns. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document patient information and incidents.
