What You'll Bring We're looking for experienced Tax Associates who possess a strong passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation. If you have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software, we'd love to hear from you. As a Tax Associate, you'll be responsible for: Providing Tax Advice: Helping our customers understand their tax obligations and navigate the complexities of taxation. Full Service Return Preparation: Preparing and filing tax returns for our customers using Intuit TurboTax products. Tax Calculations: Conducting tax calculations and providing accurate and timely results to our customers. Managing Product/Software Inquiries: Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues related to Intuit TurboTax products and services. What You Need To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess or be able to obtain the following: Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN): A valid PTIN is required for this position. State Licenses, Certificates, Permits, or Bonds: You must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds. Dedicated Hardwired Internet Connection: A dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria is required for this position. Availability to Work 20 Hours per Week: You must be willing and available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. How You Will Lead As a Tax Associate, you'll be responsible for leading our customers through the tax preparation and filing process. You'll utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role, so you'll use our state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
