About the Role We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Retail Technology and Innovation team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge web and cloud applications that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality applications. Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and adhering to Walmart's coding standards. Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and contribute to the development of new ideas and innovations. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides. Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications. Proficiency in Java, Python, and AWS, with experience in at least one of these technologies. Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions. Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment. Experience with cloud-based databases, including Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Aurora. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
