About the Role This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strong background in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing. As a Full Stack Software Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for: Designing and developing scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that applications meet the needs of our users. Developing and maintaining high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and implementing fixes and patches as needed. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing. Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of our codebase. Assisting with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing. Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript. Experience with web frameworks, such as Spring and React. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure. Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with containerization, such as Docker. Knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
