Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering exceptional results, and we're committed to creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities** As a Server Farm Professional (DCT) at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Completing assigned tickets efficiently and in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) per task type with guidance from experienced professionals. * Seeking guidance from more experienced professionals on testing or complex tickets. * Fostering a comprehension of effective execution request strategies for assigned tasks with assistance from experienced professionals or direct-line management. * Planning, staging, setting up, and performing essential new builds and closures for equipment (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) as per explicit written guidelines provided via agendas, guides, standard procedures, messages, guidance from other professionals, and direction from management. * Performing basic diagnostics and investigations with guidance from experienced professionals and through standard procedures to identify the cause(s) of technical issues and replace defective parts in organization, storage, or server equipment with zero-to-negligible client or business disruption. * Creating awareness of conditions, circumstances, and situations that may reflect critical client or business impact within the datacenter environment. * Directly performing decommissions, basic changes (e.g., memory upgrades, operating system modifications) and refreshes of framework cabling, organization, storage, and server equipment, following standard procedures while seeking guidance and direction from more experienced professionals as needed. * Processing data-bearing devices (DBDs) for destruction or affirming all such devices (e.g., hard-drives, solid-state drives, flash cards, etc.) held within organization, storage, or server equipment has been identified for destruction or destruction with guidance. * Maintaining attention to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through reporting dashboards, systems, for individual monthly performance conversations as needed. * Completing required security and information management training while adhering to security and information management strategies/approaches with guidance from other professionals. * May accompany external vendors or IT support on-premises at datacenters or organization sites. Properly takes action and reports actual security access concerns as well as incidents to coordinate line management or established reporting procedures. * Contributes to a positive and effective team climate by sharing information with other teams or professional groups, contributing in regular team meetings, clarifying pressing issues, and collaborating with other teams of professional groups to ensure smooth transition and successful handover of assigned work. **Essential and Preferred Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components. * Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including shift work during non-standard business hours that may include night, evening, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to meet Microsoft, client, or government security screening requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following specific security screenings: + Microsoft Cloud Personal Investigation: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud individual verification upon hire/transfer and at regular intervals thereafter. + Citizenship Confirmation: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal limitations. Specifically, this position supports US federal, state, and local government agency clients and is subject to specific citizenship-based limitations where required or allowed by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid identification. + Law Enforcement Data Services: This position may require passing a background check conducted through the CJIS law enforcement data system by approved local, state, or federal agencies and across different states. This job requires the candidate to maintain CJIS screening qualification.
