This role is part of the Income and Scheduling Innovation group within our Innovation department. You'll bring your data engineering, collaboration, and analysis skills to help develop an information-driven culture by designing and delivering analysis solutions and making data analysis simpler and more effective for arenaflex. **What you'll do** As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will: * Work closely with source information application groups and item proprietors to design, execute, and uphold analysis solutions that provide insights to inform better decisions. * Carry out data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services: (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc.) and conventional data warehouse tools. * Perform multiple aspects involved in the development lifecycle - planning, cloud engineering (infrastructure, organization, security, and networking), ingestion, preparation, data visualization, testing, CICD pipelines, deployment, usage, BI, alerting, and nudging. * Provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently. * Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product. * Execute batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies. * Drive the improvement of coding standards, best practices, and security and compliance rules. * Tutor others on technical and domain skills to create multi-functional teams. **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree * Four-year college education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Innovation, Data Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. **Essential Qualifications** * 3 years of programming solution development using agile, DevOps, working in an item model that includes planning, developing, and deploying large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. * 3 years of data analysis experience using SQL. * A blend of Development, Organization, and Support experience in several of the following tools/stages required: + Pre-planning: Python, Java, Unix, SQL + Data Stages: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Prophet, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake. + Azure Data Explorer. + Azure Cloud Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Capabilities. + CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform. + BI Analysis Tool Stack - Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana. + Data Warehousing: DataStage, Informatica. + Data Management and Security: Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID. **Preferred Qualifications** * 3+ years of programming solution development using agile, DevOps, item model that includes planning, developing, and deploying large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. * 3+ years of data analysis experience using SQL. * 3+ years of full-stack development experience, ideally in Azure. * 3+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Capabilities, ADX, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI. * Aviation Industry Experience. **Skills, Licenses, and Certifications** * Proficiency with the Azure stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and making utilization layers. * Mastery in providing useful guidance within the Azure Local cloud services. * Azure Development Track Certificate (liked) * Java Certification (liked) **What you'll get** Take advantage of everything arenaflex has to offer: * Medical benefits: On the very first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
