You'll bring your data engineering, collaboration, and analysis skills to help develop an data-driven culture by designing and delivering analysis solutions and making data analysis easier and more effective for arenaflex. **What you'll do** As outlined above, this list is designed to reflect the current job requirements, but there may be additional essential capabilities (and certainly unnecessary work tasks) that are not mentioned. Management will modify the job or require different tasks to be performed whenever it is deemed proper to do so, noting, of course, any applicable legal commitments including any collective bargaining commitments. * Work closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and maintain analysis solutions that provide insights to inform better decision-making. * Carry out data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services: (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc.) and traditional data warehouse tools. * Perform various aspects of the development lifecycle - design, cloud engineering (infrastructure, networking, security, and governance), ingestion, preparation, data visualization, testing, CICD pipelines, deployment, maintenance, usage, BI, alerting, and nudging. * Provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently. * Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product * Execute batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies * Drive the improvement of coding standards, best practices, and security and compliance rules. * Tutor others on technical and domain skills to create multi-functional teams. **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications Education and Prior Experience** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Systems (CIS/MIS), or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. * 3 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field, utilizing agile, DevOps, working in an application model that includes planning, developing, and deploying large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. * 3 years of experience in data analysis using SQL **Desirable Qualifications Education and Prior Experience** * A blend of Development, Operations, and Support experience in some of the following tools/platforms: + Pre-production: Python, Java, Unix, SQL + Data Platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake + Azure Data Explorer + Azure Cloud Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps + CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform + BI Analysis Tool Stack - Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana + Data Warehousing: DataStage, Informatica + Data Governance and Compliance: Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID * 3+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field, utilizing agile, DevOps, working in an application model that includes planning, developing, and deploying large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. * 3+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL * 3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure * 3+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI * Aviation Industry Experience **Skills, Licenses, and Certifications** * Proficiency with the Azure stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and visualization. * Mastery in providing valuable guidance within the Azure Local cloud services. * Azure Development Track Certification (desired) * Java Certification (desired) **What you'll get** Come and take advantage of everything arenaflex has to offer: * Health benefits: From day one, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay well.
