We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Team, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by analyzing data trends and performance metrics to improve our Quality Control division. About the Role As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for utilizing data to develop, present, and recommend groundbreaking ideas and projects. You will also perform critical analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements, supporting our organization goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing our operations, and enhancing compliance. Key Responsibilities: Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Help create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. Assist in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant points of the analysis and ease stakeholder understanding. Help develop and distribute specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need of the data requirements. Identify anomalies in processes through audits/reviews and communicate findings to the team. Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. May perform other job responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Operations, or a related field). Proficient ability to gather, organize, and analyze critical measures of data with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen to, understand, and convey ideas in writing, verbally, or through presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences. Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. Experience with PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications. Prior internship experience in a related field. Capstone projects or analysis coursework. Ability to work effectively in a strong team/support-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively and be an independent thinker. Experience managing sensitive and confidential information properly. Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
