Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our remote team. As a Pharmacy Technician/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and performing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties: Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries. Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service and support. Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring accurate and efficient processing. Clarify orders as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry and record-keeping. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills: Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License. Previous experience in pharmacy, with a strong understanding of brand name and generic medications. LTC pharmacy experience preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications. Great telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Framework/ECM knowledge a plus, but not required. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational background in a related field. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems. Experience with data entry and record-keeping. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
