You will work closely with our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch patient care, support, and services. Your responsibilities will include: **Key Responsibilities** * Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national, federal, and agency policies. * Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions. * Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with services and products. * Resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to ensure a superb customer experience. * Develop strong relationships with our most valuable customers. * Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, personnel Pharmacist, and store supervisor, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy. * Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow. * Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company rules and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the quality improvement program. * Strictly adhere to the arenaflex Co. Policy regarding accurate dispensing throughout all applicable prescription dispensing activities. * Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required. * Take customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in finding merchandise. * Handle telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. * Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager. * Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs. * Keep knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed but not obtained), order mistakes or broken goods related to Rx capsules. * May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required. * Assist the Pharmacy Supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities. * Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with sufficient supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in appearance and condition. * Comply with all company guidelines and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. * Complete unique assignments and other responsibilities as assigned. **Education & Personal Development** * Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the arenaflex pharmacy technician training program and/or state required certification/registration. * Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by manager and acquire continuing education credits. * Maintain expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments. * Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE). **Basic Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. * Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex. * Prefer strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * Prefer strong computer skills. * Prefer knowledge of store inventory management. * Prefer PTCB certification. **Benefits at arenaflex** arenaflex offers a wide range of benefits to its employees, including: * Competitive salary and repayment programs based on the role, experience, and location. * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage options for employees and their families. * Prescription savings for employees. * Retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, to help employees save for their future. * Employee stock purchase plan with a discount. * Opportunities for career growth within the company, including training and development programs. * Paid vacation days, holidays, and sick leave for work-life balance. * Education assistance, including tuition reimbursement or education support programs. * Employee discounts on products offered in arenaflex stores. * Health programs and resources to support employee well-being, including health and wellness initiatives. * Flexible work arrangements, including part-time and full-time positions. * Employee assistance program to support employees with personal and professional challenges. * Variety and inclusion initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the company. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
