Job Summary As a Blithequark Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will be at the forefront of our patient-centric pharmacy services. You will interact with customers, develop strong patient relationships, and utilize cutting-edge technology to provide exceptional care. Our pharmacy technician training program, recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified Pharmacy Technician and advance your career in healthcare. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other pharmacy-related tasks. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and customers, resolving issues, and answering inquiries. Develop strong relationships with valuable customers and model excellent customer service practices. Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy manager, personnel Pharmacist, and store supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records. Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow, reporting prescription errors, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Participate in inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs. Assist with medical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and coordinating clinical services. Develop and maintain relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. University credit hours, recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE). Basic Qualifications Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred Qualifications Six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with Blithequark. Desirable math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Accurate computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory management. P.C. certification.
