Currently, we are looking for an experienced Full Stack Payroll Specialist to work in the APAC region, with a focus on remote work. About the Role As a Full Stack Payroll Specialist at Blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of employee payroll, with a high degree of responsibility, discretion, and confidentiality. Your primary responsibilities will include payroll processing, compliance with relevant guidelines, and providing outstanding employee support on their queries. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for assigned APAC countries using a third-party payroll company. Manage weekly expenses through in-house processing via Workday host-to-host fee. Prepare, post payroll changes, new hires, and leavers for every entity to the payroll services timely through Workday HCM. Coordinate with payroll companies on timely payout to personnel and statutory payments. Carry out tasks associated with monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reporting and taxation. Serve as the point of contact for employees on payroll questions through the Zendesk ticketing system. Record, screen monthly payroll costs, and raise purchase orders. Report on payroll services' settlement renewal dates. Collaborate with Philippines and Singapore team members and follow global system alignment. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in payroll and accounting processing in a BPO or shared services environment. Experience working in APAC payroll, specifically in Korea, Australia, and India. Remarkable knowledge of payroll and associated statutory labor laws required for payroll-related calculations. Above-average proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Microsoft Excel and Word, and Workday. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workday HCM and payroll processing. Familiarity with APAC payroll laws and regulations. Certification in payroll or accounting (e.g., CPP, CPA).
