Job Summary We are looking for a seasoned Marketing Expert to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a Marketing Expert at blithequark, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and expand market share. Key Responsibilities Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives within assigned categories. Analyze key data and integrate findings and recommendations into Class Plans for marketing programs. Drive strategic execution of daily assortment activities, including tracking sales performance and making adjustments as needed. Collaborate with internal teams, including Stock, Estimating, Merchandising, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations. Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape; identify new opportunities and make recommendations. Stay up-to-date with changes in the market and research customer preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive environment. Essential Qualifications Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application. Technical proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; some experience with Access or other database software. Willingness to travel 5-10%.
