Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a Java Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across blithequark to design, develop, and implement new solutions. You will work closely with our business leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain large-scale enterprise-level Java applications, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, product owners, and project managers, to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs Develop and implement new features, functionalities, and applications, using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies Work with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to develop predictive models and data-driven solutions Design and implement data structures, algorithms, and software architectures that meet the needs of large-scale enterprise systems Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices, using Java and other relevant technologies Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all applications and systems, and develop solutions that meet the needs of a global user base Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on enterprise-level applications and systems Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies, including REST, JSON, and XML Experience with database design, development, and management, including relational and NoSQL databases Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn Experience with DevOps tools and technologies, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
