About the Role We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Human Resources Manager to join our team at American Airlines. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you'll play a vital role in shaping our organization's talent development and employee relations strategies. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic talent development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Collaborate with business leaders to design and execute employee relations initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and productivity. Provide expert guidance and advice to senior leaders on HR-related matters, including talent management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality results. Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in HR practices. Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and performance management. Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace conflicts. Develop and implement metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall employee experience. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent development, employee relations, and strategic HR. Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights. Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends and best practices. PHR/SPHR certification or willingness to obtain. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: A master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, and Title VII. Experience with HR information systems, including Workday, ADP, or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives, including training and development programs.
