Your responsibilities will include: * Building and deploying machine learning models using technical expertise in data science, statistical modeling, and quantitative methods * Developing and implementing predictive analytics solutions to drive business decisions and optimize operations * Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support * Communicating complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, including business clients and management teams * Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning, and adapting our approaches to stay ahead of the curve **Key Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field * At least 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience * Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages * Expertise in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and selection, pattern detection, distribution analysis, visualization, and insight extraction * Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K-means, and anomaly detection * Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure/Databricks, and data storage solutions, such as Snowflake * Experience with software development methodologies, including GitHub, continuous integration and delivery, and agile development * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * A Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field * Experience working with IoT and Edge AI technologies * Experience in reinforcement learning and healthcare applications **What We Offer** As a Senior Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll enjoy a competitive compensation package, including: * A salary range of $30-$45 per hour * Comprehensive benefits, including company-paid life insurance, medical, prescription drugs, dental, and vision coverage * A retirement savings plan, including a 401(k) match * Employee stock purchase plan * Paid time off (PTO), holidays, and paid parental leave (PPL) * Transportation benefit plan * Employee store discount * Voluntary life and personal accident insurance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and innovative data scientist looking for a new challenge, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
