**Experienced Full Stack Data Science Manager – Web & Cloud Application Development**

The arenaflex Notifications team is responsible for connecting users to things they care about through timely and relevant updates, and enabling other teams to do the same. We're seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to lead our Notification Systems team and shape our notification methodology through rigorous analysis and experimentation. **Job Description:** As a Data Science Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of data scientists and driving our notification strategy through exacting examinations and trial and error. Our ideal candidate is creative, logically thorough, with broad experience leading data science teams and an enthusiasm for tackling product issues across the following areas: * Unified Notifications Platform: Full responsibility for concentrated delivery and positioning of IG warnings with an emphasis on optimal notification quality to drive long-term engagement. The platform is responsible for push, badging, email, SMS, and other channels. * Driving Gradual Value to Users: Full responsibility for finding amazing opportunities to drive steady value to users through enhancements to relevance and practicality of notifications. The Data Science Manager for arenaflex Notification Systems will be directly responsible for managing the data science team to ensure proper goal-setting, experimentation, and guaging, and to develop insights that identify the greatest opportunities and gaps for arenaflex Notifications. You will work closely with a top-notch team of experts and data scientists across Meta to translate user research and expert insights into data-driven product procedures. Furthermore, this leader will be expected to serve on arenaflex's research leadership circle to help improve cross-arenaflex Research group cycles, such as hiring, training, and execution management. You will work with cutting-edge technology, and see your experiences transformed into real products every day. The ideal candidate will have a strong instinct, experience building and managing research teams, will have worked with large data sets, have experience with a behavioral science discipline, and an enthusiasm for working in a mission-driven culture. You are resourceful, focused on results, a self-starter, and have demonstrated success in using research to drive adoption, engagement, and user commitment of a product. **Key Responsibilities:** * Maintain a high bar as far as product suspecting and insightful depth for your team through specific recruiting and mentorship. * Serve as part of the core leadership group for arenaflex People with direct responsibility for the success and soundness of this product association. * Set forth objectives and metrics to direct and focus on development product guides. * Lead research studies to identify new product opportunities and shape product procedure. * Size opportunities to ensure product teams are working on the most effective initiatives. * Execute on high-priority learning drives and estimation systems for arenaflex, Instagram, and Facebook. * Collaborate and heavily contribute to major research and product initiatives across the Facebook Group of Applications (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.). **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Computer Science, Physics). * 3+ years of experience in Product Data Science, including depth experience with experimentation. * 3+ years of experience in building high-performing data science and research teams, including managing directors. * Working knowledge of predictive modeling, AI, and experimentation/causal inference techniques. * Demonstrated judgment in balancing practical business needs and logical rigor. * Demonstrated experience framing associations with and influencing cross-functional leaders in design, product, research, etc. * Demonstrated relational skills and experience communicating with and influencing a wide range of audiences. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Economics, Computer Science, Physics). **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and see your experiences transformed into real products every day * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Access to arenaflex's comprehensive training and development programs * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and experienced data science professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
