Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Ocean Volumes and Carrier Development at blithequark

About the Role As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of ocean volumes and enhancing the development of the ocean product. You will work closely with the Managing Director of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, analysis of carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and resolving carrier service issues. This role will also require you to support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the success of our customers and the growth of our business. Key Responsibilities Execute strategies to drive the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives Collaborate with the Managing Director of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, analysis of carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and resolving carrier service issues, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service Support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the success of our customers and the growth of our business Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, enhance service, and support adherence to the preferred network, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in Assist in implementing pricing programs and reviewing volume targets, ensuring that our pricing strategies are competitive and aligned with business objectives Work with the Trade Lane Manager to develop an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to achieve expectations of account development and yield enhancement, driving growth and revenue for the business Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the Managing Director, Ocean, along with the global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned Direct and indirect customer contact will also be required, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers Work closely with product, sales, and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures to minimize company risk, ensuring that our business is operated in a safe and responsible manner Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in data entry, logistics, or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, logistics, supply chain management) and 3+ years of experience in data entry, logistics, or a related field. You will also need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
