Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems that handle massive amounts of data Develop and implement data pipelines that integrate with our core product features Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and data science, to enable a culture of learning Work with distributed systems, such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Apache Kafka Develop and maintain data models that drive business insights and inform product decisions Troubleshoot data quality issues and optimize data systems for performance Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of our technology stack Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field At least 5 years of experience working with large-scale data systems Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or Python Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases Strong understanding of distributed systems and data processing Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP Familiarity with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam or Apache Airflow Experience working with machine learning models and data science tools Strong understanding of data governance and data quality Skills and Competencies Strong technical skills, with expertise in one or more programming languages Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong understanding of data systems and data processing Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Netflix, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
