Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for architecting, coding, and delivering software solutions that meet the stringent financial regulatory expectations of our clients across 20+ countries. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll work alongside talented engineers in an open, supportive, and inclusive environment, making your own choices on what tech to apply to solve tough problems. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and operate relational database programs across development, test, and production environments Design and implement powerful test instances that are integrated into CI/CD pipelines Develop observability abilities into solutions to enable the critical identification of root causes for failures in time-sensitive processes Ensure scalability with SQL and other relevant technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 2-3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and operating relational database programs Proven ability to develop powerful test instances and observability abilities into solutions Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) What We Offer: At Blithequark, we're committed to supporting the holistic well-being of our team members and their loved ones.
