If you're someone who thrives on tackling complex business challenges and is excited about this opportunity, please get in touch with us. **Key Responsibilities** As a seasoned data engineer, you will be responsible for: * Designing, developing, and testing large-scale data architectures to provide expert analytical and reporting capabilities across arenaflex's global and regional sales and finance teams. * Creating highly adaptable data pipelines to ingest data from various source systems, utilizing Apache Airflow to orchestrate, schedule, and monitor workflows. * Building reusable solutions that can scale and leverage different technologies and frameworks to address our complex business needs. * Ensuring data quality through establishing data quality management frameworks and anomaly detection capabilities. * Being expected to grasp existing solutions, tailor them, and support them as needed. **Essential Qualifications** * 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data modeling, and data architecture. * Strong expertise in designing and developing cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and large data platforms like Hadoop, Hive, and Dremio. * Proficiency in designing and developing custom ETL pipelines using SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell, Golang) and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow. * Experience with advanced SQL, execution tuning, and data engineering concepts like data lakes, data lakehouse, and distributed computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud. * Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment tools for databases and software. * Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data engineering tools like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and data integration platforms like Informatica, Talend. * Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake. * Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security frameworks. * Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture principles. * Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. **Work Environment and Company Culture** We're a rapidly growing team with a plethora of exciting technical and business challenges to tackle.
