As a data engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and operationalizing information pipelines to drive analysis and information services. You'll work closely with product owners, engineering, and data stage teams to configure, build, test, and automate information pipelines that are relied upon across the organization as the single source of truth. **Key Responsibilities** * Creates and operationalizes information pipelines to make information accessible for use (BI, Advanced Analysis, Services) * Works with data modelers and data/BI architects to design information pipelines and suggests continuous improvement of information storage, information ingestion, information quality, and processing * Plans, creates, and carries out ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud) * Utilizes Azure services like Azure SQL DW (Neural connection), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our information products and services * Carries out large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization * Identifies, plans, and carries out internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing information delivery * Identifies ways to improve information reliability, efficiency, and quality of information management * Conveys technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbal * Performs peer reviews for other data architect's work **Requirements** * 2+ years' experience designing and operationalizing information pipelines with large and complex datasets * 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter * 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica IICS * 2+ years' experience working with Cloud technologies; like ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure, Azure Neurotransmitter, Universe DB, and other big data advancements * 2+ years' experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing * 2+ years' hands-on experience carrying out data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL * Strong understanding of database storage concepts; Data Lake, Social Databases, NoSQL, Schema, Data Warehousing * Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Microsoft Azure/Comparable certifications * Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches * Familiarity with the retail industry * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies * Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that's perfect for talented individuals who want to grow and develop their careers.
