You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with data software teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that drive better decision-making Implement data migration and engineering solutions using cloud technologies such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and more Perform various components of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, and production support Provide technical assistance and collaborate with team members, as well as work independently Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies Develop coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines Requirements for Success Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 1 year of software solution development experience using agile, DevOps, and product version control, including designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions 1 year of data analytics experience using SQL 1 year of cloud development and data lake experience (Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI Combination of Development, Administration & Support experience in various tools/structures, including: Scripting: Python, Spark, Unix, SQL Data Platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform BI Analytics Tool Stack - Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana Data Warehouse: DataStage, Informatica Data Governance and Privacy: Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID Preferred Qualifications 2 years of software solution development experience using agile, DevOps, and product version control, including designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions 3 years of data analytics experience using SQL 2 years of full-stack development experience, ideally in Azure 2 years of cloud development and data lake experience (Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, ADX, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI Airline Industry Experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Experience with the Azure Technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and developing intake layers Working knowledge in providing sensible route in the Azure Native cloud services Spark Certification (preferred) Azure Development Track Certification (preferred) Perks and Benefits At Blithequark, we understand that your well-being and growth are essential to your success.
