In this role, you'll provide exceptional support to Medicaid members, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you! **Responsibilities** As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing one-to-one telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles * Accurately documenting enrollment requests and status changes * Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers wishing to apply for the program over the telephone * Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency in the Iowa Family Care rules/guidelines and other related program policies * Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements * Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers * Problem-solving through analysis and ongoing feedback * Achieving results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment * Working with people of diverse backgrounds * Adhering to a break and lunch schedule * Maintaining excellent typing and grammar skills * Navigating a computer * Understanding and utilizing policy * Providing excellent customer service skills * Demonstrating excellent phone etiquette skills * Ensuring reliable internet access **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes * High school diploma or GED * Background check required * Must reside within 1 hour driving distance from Des Moines, IA * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a call center environment * Familiarity with Medicaid programs and policies * Knowledge of Iowa Family Care rules/guidelines * Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds * Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities * Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment **What We Offer** As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll enjoy: * A competitive hourly rate of $18.00 * Paid training program with equipment provided * Full-time schedule (40 hours a week) * Career growth opportunities * PerkSpot employee discount program * Full benefit options, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time **Work Environment and Culture** At blithequark, we value our associates' health and safety, as well as their families and our community.
