**Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative – Medicaid Member Support**

As a remote customer service representative, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy that comes with working from home. **The Role** As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing Iowa Medicaid Program recipients and affiliates. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing one-to-one telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles * Accurately documenting enrollment requests and status changes * Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers wishing to apply for the program over the telephone * Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency in the Iowa Family Care rules/guidelines and other related program policies * Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes * The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers * Problem-solving skills through analysis and ongoing feedback * The ability to achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment * A high school diploma or GED * A background check (required) * Residency within 1 hour driving distance from Des Moines, IA **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following skills and qualifications will make you a strong candidate: * Excellent typing and grammar skills * Ability to navigate a computer * Understanding and utilization of policy * Excellent customer service skills * Excellent phone etiquette skills * Reliable internet access **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you can expect: * A competitive hourly rate of $18.00 * Paid training with equipment provided * A full-time schedule (40 hours a week) * Career growth opportunities * PerkSpot – an employee discount program * Full benefit options, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time **Work Environment and Culture** At blithequark, we prioritize a positive, employee-friendly culture that values individuality and fosters growth and development.
