As a Full Stack Customer Service Agent, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. **Why You’ll Love This Role** As a Full Stack Customer Service Agent, you will have the opportunity to: * Communicate with customers in a professional, courteous, and empathetic manner * Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively * Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their queries * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues * Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge * Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values innovation and creativity **Key Responsibilities** The following are the primary responsibilities of a Full Stack Customer Service Agent: * Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets * Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations * Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades * Issue vouchers and coordinate with vendors for traveler hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation; arrange for refueling and re-boarding * Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/confirmation * Operate door readers/scanners and related tasks, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and exit row rules * Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning travelers * Create boarding and flight door announcements * Carry domestic/international flight documents * Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures * Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintain the schedule of the flight boarding process * Perform client service hands-on training * Process and complete credit card transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Assist travelers with self-service booth registration and stand baggage handling at ticket counters * Manage lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clear/confirm international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accept and initiate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and moving non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, and unaccompanied minors * Perform client service work related to handling regional flights and vendor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Maintain regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any mandatory overtime requirements. * Answer and assist during security or emergency situations * Provide interfacing travelers with gate information * Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with American's policies. * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines. * Participate in task-critical training phases * Comply with unofficial laws (e.g., TSA, FAA) * Utilize multiple internal assets/frameworks, including during customer interactions * Wear uniform as required by company policy **Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following:** * Perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Peak capabilities * Assist international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check * Carry tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms **What You’ll Need for Success** To excel as a Full Stack Customer Service Agent, you will need: * Least Capabilities: + Training and prior professional training + High school diploma or GED or equivalent + Bilingual language skills required in certain areas + Valid driver's license as required by local authorities + Must meet FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Must be able to obtain suitable airport power or US Customs security identifications, if relevant + Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive personal investigation, and fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements + Must be eligible to work in the U.S. * Favored Capabilities: + Education and prior professional training + Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Frameworks + Past face-to-face customer service experience + Working in a high-speed environment **What You’ll Get** As a Full Stack Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will enjoy: * Medical benefits: On your first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, medical, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
