Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Strategy Lead to join our dynamic team in a hybrid remote work arrangement. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership in the evaluation of strategic objectives, formulation of strategic direction, and influence decision making based on assessment of business trends and data analytics. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing analyses and assessments grounded in a deep understanding of the business, industry, and market trends, consumer behavior, customer segments, and competitive strategy. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership in the evaluation of strategic objectives, formulation of strategic direction, and influence decision making based on assessment of business trends and data analytics. Plan, organize, and develop analyses and assessments grounded in a deep understanding of the business, industry, and market trends, consumer behavior, customer segments, and competitive strategy. Predict changes in the current market and summarize insights from proprietary and third-party data and information to create distinctive insights. Develop and implement business analyses, manage business case development, and business-at-risk assessments. Develop strategic frameworks and manage processes to build business scenarios. Provide a point of view on key strategic issues across major dimensions of the business, including competitive activity, operations, customer segments, technology, and governance. Manage ongoing discussions with peer partners in other internal work groups on identified priorities supported with clear fact-based recommendations. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide insight and guidance to peers, managers, and directors in partner teams. Interface with areas across the enterprise to discuss changes impacted by strategic recommendations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Master's degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with four (4) years related work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with five to seven (5-7) years related work experience. Work experience in functions focused on strategy development, competitive, customer, and industry analysis, market research, analysis of product performance, and support of corporate development/strategic value assessment activities. Demonstrated business acumen and experience of supporting strategic assessments that are transformational in nature, including understanding the impact of technology trends on business. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates with: Experience with Portfolio Management, Portfolio Governance functions, and cross-Portfolio dependency management at larger digital companies. Strong prior knowledge of project management or program management execution. Strong technical understanding to determine value, prioritization, and/or critical problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization. Ability to influence and build strong relationships across the organization. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and openly communicate status, issues/risks, and challenges presented to project, as well as the ability to create clear and concise presentations. Solid understanding of learning and development principles, specifically applied in a technical context. Experience with work management tools and agile taxonomy and nomenclature. Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting parties. Ability to effectively operate within a fast-paced, dynamic, complex, and matrix organization. Proven experience in program management within a technical environment, ideally in areas such as eCommerce, software development, data science, cloud computing, etc. Experience with data analytics, dashboarding, and Power BI is a plus. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in databases, Business Intelligence tools, MS Office products, and data modeling. Strong human relations skills.
