Job Expectations and Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Maintaining courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community. Ensuring a neat appearance and good personal hygiene in compliance with blithequark's image standards. Supporting and following established safety, security, quality guidelines, and company policies. Preserving the safety of self, fellow employees, and others in the work location. Ensuring food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations. Following federal law and company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products. Working professionally with vendors and contractors. Maintaining regular and punctual attendance. Essential Functions To excel in this role, you'll need to: Provide exceptional guest service, greeting and thanking customers while making eye contact. Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely. Maintain cash drawer and secure funds in the safe. Perform consistent station cleaning and ensure food and hot beverage products are prepared to high standards. Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs. Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them in an orderly manner. Observe local law requirements in activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should: Be available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Possess strong attention to detail and exceptional judgment. Be able to work both independently and in team settings. Have required up-to-date food handling certificates, as necessary. Physical Demands and Requirements This role requires: The ability to stand and walk for long periods on hard and uneven surfaces. The ability to bend, lift, push, and move product using proper lifting techniques. Constant standing, bending, and reaching with moderate manual dexterity. Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions and moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers. Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness standards.
