Job Overview The Data Entry Assistant will play a critical role in performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for alternate investments. This is a full-remote position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for refining trade buy and sell purchases in client profiles, identifying and fixing breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer brokers, and handling business activity occasions, among other tasks. Key Responsibilities Refine trade buy and sell purchases in client profiles to ensure accuracy and completeness Identify and fix breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer brokers to maintain seamless operations Handle business activity occasions, settle and reconcile move activity, and process and reconcile dividend activity Conduct investigations of complex and escalated issues, execute testing and validation of new technology improvements, and vendor changes Complete assignments in trading, dividends, transfers, settlement, and business actions that directly impact client/advisor profiles Collaborate with retail and institutional business teams via email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to ensure effective communication and issue resolution Represent blithequark in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, contra parties, and other external business partners Responsibilities Analysis Client review of membership agreements or transmission requests Client/advisor amount exceptions Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) Reconciliation of business, returns, and transfer breaks Reconciliation across BOS and fund firms Assessment and analysis of applicable tax code and corrections of tax coding Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution Internal/external body augmentations or concerns Source of breaks between blithequark, the fund, etc. Providing process or technology answer alternatives to control Remediating transfer issues with the fund or contra company, client, or business partner Answering business partner questions regarding fund-specific requirements/eligibility Providing follow-up on alternate investment transactions to accelerate customer requests or remediate not-in-good-order concerns Prompt and accurate completion of customer investing and returns demands Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in data entry, accounting, or a related field, with a focus on alternate investments Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements Familiarity with blithequark's systems and processes, or similar financial services platforms Certifications or training in data entry, accounting, or a related field Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess: Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
