Key Responsibilities As a Food and Consumables Coach (Complex), you will be responsible for leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. You will tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach), communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilize technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. You will also introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates Tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach) to ensure exceptional customer service standards Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction Introduce and lead company change efforts and provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions Communicate business objectives to teams effectively and drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications: 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience Ability to lead and develop teams effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area Ability to provide exceptional customer service standards Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be an asset in this role: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and competencies: Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to drive financial performance and sales Ability to provide exceptional customer service standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we are committed to helping our associates grow and develop in their careers.
