Essential Qualifications To become a Preply tutor, you'll need: Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. A University degree or a Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching. Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online. A high-speed internet connection to ensure smooth and uninterrupted online lessons.
