Job Summary We are looking for a seasoned Director of Chance Administration to lead our risk management initiatives and drive business growth. As a Director of Chance Administration, you will be responsible for exploring organized and unstructured data, interpreting data using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods, and collaborating with technology and other teams on the integration and implementation of risk management approaches and business strategies. Key Responsibilities: Explore organized and unstructured data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions Interpret data using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods to drive business outcomes Collaborate with technology and other teams on the integration and implementation of risk management approaches and business strategies Identify and assess new data sources (controlled and non-managed) that could add steady profitability to Blithequark's products/services Use industry and internal best practices and incorporate regulatory feedback on a case-by-case basis to drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems Develop and execute business process improvement strategies and project management plans Lead cross-functional teams and drive business change and reengineering initiatives Utilize MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling Work with Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Scene, Terawatt, Client Acknowledgment Testing (UAT), and Unix Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field At least 1 year of experience in each of the following: Risk management Interpreting complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences Working with technical, analytical, business, and non-technical teams Cost-benefit analyses and developing and executing business process improvement strategies Project management experience, driving business change, and reengineering processes Utilizing MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Scene, Terawatt, Client Acknowledgment Testing (UAT), and Unix Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a related field Additional experience in risk management, data analysis, or a related field Certifications in risk management, data analysis, or a related field What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base compensation Additional incentives and bonuses 6% Organization Match on retirement savings plan Free financial coaching and financial wellness support Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and life insurance 20+ weeks paid parental leave for all parents, regardless of orientation, presented for pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy Free access to global on-site health centers set up with nurses and doctors (dependent on location) Free and confidential counseling help through our Solid Personalities program Career Growth and Learning Benefits: Opportunities for career advancement and skill development through training and workshops Tuition assistance or repayment programs to support continuous education Mentorship programs and career development resources Cross-functional collaboration and exposure to various areas of the business Work Environment and Culture: Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Family-friendly policies, including parental leave for new parents Recognition programs to acknowledge and reward employee contributions Performance-based incentives and bonuses Employee resource groups and networks to foster diversity, inclusion, and collaboration Why Join Blithequark?
