Job Overview The Digital Media Operations Leader will be responsible for leading a team of client service managers in supporting assigned sales representatives and related clients through all stages of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing. This role will focus on delivering effective media designs that maximize revenue, allocating team responsibilities, and contributing to campaign management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital media, with expertise in video, programmatic, and CTV advertising, as well as experience in team management and campaign planning and execution. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of digital media client service managers in supporting assigned sales representatives and related clients through all stages of the campaign lifecycle Deliver effective media designs that maximize revenue and drive functional productivity Allocate team responsibilities and contribute to campaign management, including stock gauging, media plan creation, order entry, negotiation, optimization, reporting, and invoicing Ensure the Record Administrator is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related questions Act as the primary point of contact for any escalations on complex challenges or requests regarding inventory, ad products, or campaigns Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting in revenue tracking and analysis Investigate and resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with global Ad Platforms support Test potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide feedback on contract negotiations Ideate, implement, review, and optimize operational processes that drive quality and efficiency Analyze utilization and performance of digital inventory to develop strategies and products that maximize revenue yield Mentor, train, and develop talent, including onboarding new hires Create and update internal documentation to clarify processes and best practices Collaborate with regional teams and act as a local center of excellence for other offices across EMEA Maintain up-to-date knowledge of blithequark's ad tech stack and ecosystem, and stay informed about industry developments Essential Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech. They will have team management experience, expertise in defining and improving processes, and a strong understanding of digital media, including video, programmatic, and CTV advertising. The candidate will be highly analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in media or entertainment brand management, as well as knowledge of the processes and procedures of a global corporation Essential skills in using and promoting ad management systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager), ad server systems (e.g., DV360), and management of Creative Labels and Tracking to support and lead the assigned team Knowledge of Massive activation for digital campaigns and related requirements Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and driven individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. They will be a natural team leader and mentor, able to foster a positive, inclusive culture and drive results-oriented performance. The candidate will be highly analytical, with a strong understanding of digital media and the advertising industry, particularly video and within EMEA. They will be IT literate across core business applications and remote working tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Zoom).
