About the Role As a Data Investigator at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in supporting our DTC business, encompassing Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+, by delivering high-impact data analysis and insights. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Data Solutions teams, to drive business decisions and strategy. Key Responsibilities Partner with Business Leaders: Work closely with business pioneers to identify pressing business challenges related to bundle trends and drivers, and develop insightful strategies to address these questions. Develop Insights Pipeline: Help create a continuous insights pipeline, ensuring that all colleagues have access to a steady stream of bundle intel. Analyze Trends and Drivers: Perform comprehensive trend analyses, evaluating the contributions of drivers from multiple angles. Segmentation and Growth: Define and analyze audience segments to drive bundle growth and development. Collaboration and Storytelling: Collaborate with other Analytics teams to integrate insights into a cohesive narrative, and present findings to stakeholders through compelling storytelling. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technical Skills: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on analytical work experience with R/Python/SAS (or other statistical analysis tools) and SQL. Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning: Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies, including linear and logistic regression, significance testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques. Data Manipulation and Visualization: Skill in controlling large datasets, interpreting data trends, and using various data sources and tools, as well as experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, etc. Analytical and Communication Skills: Demonstrated analytical abilities with the capacity to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations, along with exceptional presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience: Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based services. Marketing Experience: Experience working with Marketing teams or in the Marketing landscape. Advanced Experimentation Skills: Knowledge of designing, implementing, and analyzing sophisticated A/B/MVT test structures.
