As a Data Entry Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our Customs Brokerage team, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, and providing top-notch customer service to our clients. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include: * Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a focus on high accuracy rates and efficient workflow execution * Understanding and identifying customs documentation, including transposing customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to build a valid customs declaration * Verifying documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, with a focus on ensuring compliance with regulations at all times * Providing exceptional customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner * Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, with a focus on meeting or exceeding performance targets **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management * Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing * Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * A growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop your skills in the supply chain and logistics industry * A strong desire for a career in supply chain and logistics, with a willingness to learn and grow with blithequark **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Previous experience in a customs brokerage or logistics environment * Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures * Experience with customs entry systems and software * Certification in supply chain management or logistics **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong organizational and time management skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and careers.
