One. **Job Summary:** We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Details and Data Gathering team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of sports information on our various platforms, including television broadcasts, websites, and mobile apps. You'll work with automated data feeds and manual data entry to deliver precise, timely, and engaging sports information to our global audience. **Position Overview:** The Data Entry Specialist will be part of the Details and Data Gathering team, responsible for creating and maintaining accurate sports information on arenaflex's platforms. This includes scores, schedules, standings, and other relevant data. You'll work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging sports information to our fans. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure sports information disseminated by Details and Data is accurate, timely, and engaging. * Work individually and in teams to deliver accurate, detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data in real-time to power arenaflex's various products and productions. * Create and maintain a working knowledge of Details and Data's role in fueling arenaflex's digital products and television productions. * Conduct quality checks on your own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Contribute to the development of new ideas, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, supporting newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff. * Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and propose potential solutions, communicating rapidly and clearly with colleagues on these matters. * Play an active role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes. * Participate actively in team and office meetings. * Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance. * Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures. **Required Capabilities:** * Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and game rules. * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to quickly learn production processes that generate or maintain sports information for arenaflex's digital and television products. * Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments. * Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom. **Preferred Capabilities:** * 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, preferably in media. * Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes. * Working knowledge of arenaflex's products and productions. * Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. * Experience leading or training a team. * Ability to speak and write Spanish. * Experience incorporating social media in a business or news environment. **Required Education:** * High school diploma or equivalent. **Preferred Education:** * Professional certification or equivalent. **Additional Information:** * This position requires working nights, weekends, and holidays. * About arenaflex: Working at arenaflex is unlike anything else.
