Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient information in our software program. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter patient information into our software program, ensuring high-quality data and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Access various electronic medical records systems to retrieve and update patient information. Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner. Safeguard and protect patient confidentiality by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to medical information and that all releases of information comply with company policy and HIPAA regulations. Essential Qualifications We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications: Experience in a medical records office environment is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate. Computer literacy, including a general working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to type 50+ words per minute with accuracy. Focused on high-quality work and committed to delivering exceptional results. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Extremely reliable and able to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications: Experience working with electronic medical records systems. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance. Experience in a remote work environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
