Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to work in our online pharmacy operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, resolving patient registration issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and prescribers. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, using blithequark's prescription information access strategies and systems. Register new patients and enter information into the system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines and enterprise policies. Handle patient prescription requests, troubleshoot missing prescription information, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve data entry associated exceptions and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in the facility and at different locations, and communicate issues to senior-level staff as needed. Make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed, and resolve third-party rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills, including start-up and shut-down, use of mouse, and basic software applications. Basic Google search skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, and navigating using back/forward/stop buttons. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting files). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 18 months of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via state as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation. Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting friendly standards for services, and assessment of customer pride. Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting files). Fluency in Spanish and English.
