Job Overview arenaflex is seeking an experienced Data Entry Professional to join its team for remote work opportunities. As a Data Entry Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing data entry tasks, and supporting the pharmacy team in various administrative functions. Key Responsibilities Provides exceptional customer service by greeting patients, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving patient issues in a timely and professional manner. Performs data entry tasks, including processing prescriptions, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information. Supports the pharmacy team in various administrative functions, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as assigned. Works collaboratively with the pharmacy team to promote a positive and productive work environment, and to ensure that all patients receive exceptional care and service. Participates in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments, company policies, and procedures. Patient Experience Engages patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving patient issues in a timely and professional manner. Models and provides customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver a unique and satisfying experience, including interpersonal skills that demonstrate empathy (e.g., welcoming, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and arenaflex service values (e.g., showing interest to identify needs and proactively assisting, serving until satisfied, advocating compassion and inclusivity, etc.). Interacts with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services. Supports efforts on enhancing patient experience by increasing awareness of healthcare services presented through arenaflex (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, medication therapy reviews, and perform clinical, or health services like vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services) thereby promoting the shift of the arenaflex pharmacy role from transactional to relational. Participates and assists in events that reflect the unique communities we serve as directed by Store Manager, Healthcare Supervisor, District Manager, or Pharmacy Manager. Tasks Counsels patients and answers their questions regarding the use of medications, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, more affordable medications, over-the-counter products, and refers to clinical provider as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly, health needs are addressed, and satisfaction with service. Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, medication therapy reviews, verification, and medication management. Reviews, interprets, and accurately administers prescribed medications when required by responsibility. Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards. Assists pharmacy manager with establishing procedures that promote the efficient workflow of the pharmacy including assigning tasks, scheduling activities, and soliciting colleague ideas. Ensures the use of all components of the Good Faith Dispensing policy related to state and federal controlled substance regulations while filling prescriptions. Maintains current knowledge on information technology associated with pharmacy systems including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and retail point-of-sale systems to offer support to patients as well as pharmacy staff. Seeks new and better ways of encouraging advance efficiency. People and Performance Management Assists the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training. Establishes the course of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by coaching, and providing constructive feedback, monitoring customer service, and encouraging colleague development. Promotes teamwork and motivates colleagues by establishing expectations, monitors and recognizes progress, and encourages a shared vision. Training and Self-Awareness Maintains current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations to offer such clinical services. Maintains current knowledge and skills associated with pharmacy and healthcare by reading pharmacy-related journals, company publications, and communications. Maintains awareness of advancements in retail and management and pursues best practices that would improve performance. Acquires necessary certifications, education credits, and training, including learning modules, as required by the Organization. Seeks professional development by observing one's performance, requests for constructive feedback, and uses pharmacy manager and supervisor as mentor and coach. Essential Qualifications BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution. Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region. Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance regulations. Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer within at least 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance. Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will also need to have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to have a strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including prescription dispensing, medication therapy management, and patient counseling.
